Thanks both. I had a good day thanks and the celebrations are continuing over the weekend, family BBQ to celebrate 4 birthdays together! Looks like the weather is going to be kind to us.
Hi Jules, Belated happy returns, hope you have a blast over the weekend. My mum and sister are going to Oxford this weekend, she's an old bohemian at this stage - 85. She studied sculpture there about 60 years ago and going over to visit an old friend, so if you see any people speaking with a brogue.....it'll be my sister, as my mum has an english accent! Happy Birthday buddy Nicky

Nick Where's your Mum visiting in Oxford this weekend? The city centre will be heaving with people with the lovely weather and deep into tourist season. Good for your Mum at 85 visiting her old friend. Has she been over here in the last 60 years? If not it will have changed quite a bit, but in many ways be much the same...
Hi Jules, I don't know what she has planned but she's going punting on the river... I'm sure half of the tourists will be doing that tomorrow. She goes there every year to see her old pal, I've even been there. My best memories, over twenty years ago, are the dome shaped college building - is it the Smithsonian, and also the stretch of grass in front of the river where roger waters is supposed to have written 'brain damage'. Roger Waters played Dublin a couple of months ago that was a fantastic gig. Wow I can really get sidetracked..... all the best Hope the celebrations are still in full swing Nicky
