I'm having trouble posting on the Bob Geldof guest map thing...I keep trying to post myself on there but nothing happens when I click the little 'post' icon, and then the map.
I would guess...the map says it has 100 entries on it...maybe that's the max the map can hold? it's been staying at 100 entries for some time now...
I think that map is in a desperately unhealthy state. We were trying to play around with it the other week, whilst in chat but it was driving us nuts. It kept throwing me out of my ISP etc, and it wasn't just me it playing up. I think it needs some TLC.

That would be correct. I went in and cleaned up a little; Removed people using the map as a message board, the hate messages, and doubles. There should be room for another 15 people or so now
Thanks for making some room for more Geldof fans. Maybe I'm just illiterate with this sorta thing but I still can't post an entry. I click on the 'post' icon, then the map, and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong

I have no idea... I just tried it (click on Post, then OK the message, Pin the tumbtack on the map, then enter info (I think name and comment might be mandatory). Could it be that you have some kind of pop-up blocker?
Let me know if you still have problems, and I'll enter you myself. I'll have to research where your state is on the map though
The first link I posted was Ben Franklin (left), George Washington (center) and John Hancock (right) rapping about breaking away from England - Independence Day - that's why I associated it with the map. You'll have to pay more attention to the lyrics next time!
wow. some people have no lives (whoever was in that elmo costume).
ah yes, I knew the rapping historical figures, but you caught me - my sister was napping in the other room so I didn't turn it up too loudly...guess it is relevant then!
Rita, what do you think about Hawaii? Or the middle of an ocean somewhere warm? We can pretend we've got a yacht, with a helicopter, so we can bring people over to visit...
oh, lame! the Barney vid was taken off another site (ebaums world) b/c the Barney producers were threatening ebaum to take action if it wasn't removed. so I found that other link, and now that one's having problems lol?
Franna gobsmacked means flabbergasted, shocked into silence. Is this a UK phrase!!
I had been knocked off the map too I discovered but the Southern England is getting a little overcrowded so I'm now in the middle of the North Sea! It's a bit cold...
