TOPIC: HOSPITAL OF N'DJANEMA - PLEASE OPEN THIS EMAIL PLEASE HELP ME HELPING DR. GRACE KODINDO AGAINST PREGNANCIES PROBLEMS
Last week I saw a little bit, in a Portuguese channel (SIC Noticias), a program of Panorama BBC named "Dead mums don't cry". This program speeks about the mums and future mums helth, on the Central Hospital in N'Djanema (capital of Chade or Tjade). I was chocked with the Dr Grace Kodindo (an obstetrician) report. Bellow you can find a litle report of the BBC web site:
"Panorama filmed with Grace in a state hospital as she struggled to save lives from eclampsia - a preventable condition almost unheard of in the West. Everyday she deals with women who suffer the results of clinical delay. And she tries desperately to help women at risk from trying to end their pregnancies - including young girls. Women in Chad have a 1 in 11 chance of dying during pregnancy or in childbirth. The risk for women in the UK is 1 in 5100."...........Cutting maternal mortality by three quarters by 2015 was one of the eight Millennium Development Goals set by 189 countries in 2000. Five years on, progress is far behind schedule - and Panorama revealed it's slowest on the goals that affect women and children."

Phisiologic serum - cost Eur. 1,00 catheter- Eur 0,33 Needle - Eur 0,10 Blod = not avaiable at hospital , one of her family gave blod to help .
One family earns per month only Eur 23,00
