No, I haven't, but I've had a couple of ops. Not good after being under the knife and I don't know the nature of tonsilitis, but if it is a straightforward and very routine op (keyhole?) you could be feeling reasonably OK in 6 days. I did the Race for Life (walking) 9 days after an op.
Aah, hope you get lots of tea and sympathy - or maybe gin/vodka/wine and sympathy might work better! Oh and I think icecream is good too ...
Sorry never had my tonsils out, but I hope you feel better soon - and that you don't have to be quiet for too long Oh and don't forget, laughter is the best medicine - will try to think of some tonsil jokes - will get back to you ... xx
apparently they take your tonsils out via your mouth. i've got 2 weeks off work for this and it is advised to stay away from colds, infections and smokey environments so crowded places are out for a couple of weeks which means staying in pretty much most of the time i expect. i'll get a load of dvds and watch some films i spose. which brings me to another question...... can any of you recommend some seriously good worth-watching films?
