They did say he 'looked cool', and 'every inch the Indie star' (tell that to the NME!).Love the line about the 'concerned passer by', who just happens to be a member of top rock group The Boomtown Rats. what are the chances?smile

I imagine that they were actually there for 5 minutes, waiting for transport to collect them to take them to Newcastle. Bob decided to get a bit of sunshine while he was waiting. There was nowhere to sit, he climbed up there (admittedly an odd place - but that's Bob). Then Pete came over to get him when they were ready. Pete has a bag over his shoulder as though he's ready to leave. What's the big deal?

The Daily Mirror had this story first, but they had him sleeping there at 3 o clock in the afternoon and with several passers by trying to wake him up. I gave them what for on FB. I like doing that to the gutter press. I told the Daily Fail that the reviewer of the Dublin gig should be awarded next year's Booker prize for fiction.

I do t suppose they ever printed our letters? I said to the Daily Fail, the only truth was that they appeared that night in that venue. It was obvious the reporter wasn't anywhere to be seen on the premises.

Maybe there were other 'concerned passers by'. Four of them. Their names would be Garry, Simon, Darren and Alan.

Fuksake. The guy had just performed in Manchester (with a bad cold), flown to Oxford next day for the Freud/Murdoch party (also mentioned in Daily Mail) on Sat night, no doubt into early hours, flown straight back to Glasgow and done another gig same night, and some two bit (nearly said two bob) pap thinks a photo of him briefly dozing while waiting for the bus is newsworthy.

There's a campaign here methinks.....

He was in Oxford? Phew should have had an invite to that party . Not exactly my scene. What did he want to go there for?

I'd like to see these people try to do his schedule and not catch a few minutes shut eye if they could. Apparently he was out and about doing a talk last night too. O

The couples joint fortune is in excess of £250million, with Freud Communications representing global brands such as Google, Pepsi, Asda and Guinness.

So Google is mining our souls according to Geldof, and no doubt helped by Freud communications. And Bob is happy to go to their parties?

Exactly Noël. Why does he want to mix with these people?

No I couldn't quite hear it from home . Just a tad too far, presumably in Chipping Norton. He should have come to my place instead of mixing with that lot .

It's no wonder that Bono and Geldof get a bad press from some. One minute they are lecturing  about poverty and the next they are hob nobbing at some super rich do.confuse

He's happy enough tagging kids, so I suspect he has no issue with Google, just a good introduction to the song.

http://groupcall.com/

He cut out his failed generation speech and I didn't note his banker bashing the last couple of times out.  Maybe someone enlightened him.
