The mystery deepens then. This agency SEEMS certainly prepared for a tour of some kind. Something is in the air, methinks. I have mailed them to ask. Hopefully they will reply. Sorry Ian, you would not know what the hell I was talking about in my email. I naturally assumed that you did. OOPS!

Ian, please investigate and let us know what is going on. I am dying to know. Surely a reputable agency would not do this as a publicity stunt? If they are not so reputable, nobody would use them. Are they just in negotiation and are jumping the gun?

I know that its not happening in the near future thats for certain. thats from official sources .there was some talk about this earlier in the year but nothing was ever confirmed so perhaps that is  what this website relates  too

NOTE to Bob, Willo, Ian etc. It would not do any harm to let myself and others advertise the dates, once known on myspace ,(GAS).  I would post regular bulletins nearer the time. The majority of the 158 members are American or Canadian. They can network very efficiently and will give the tour plenty of pre publicity. If even 100 of them post it on to 20 or 30 of their friends and they do the same and start a chain, then we could get to thousands of people. Thats how myspace works. Many are in the music business or journalists and all are Geldof fans. Also Jules, Reka, Debs and Pezi, among others have myspace pages with different sets of friends. I would also like to post a personal message from Bob to his American and Canadian fans if possible. (though not holding my breath) He can contact any of us through his daughter.

I sense a new momentum , a new phase, if you like in Bob's solo career. Arr Gee was right, in one way, the cancelled Milan concert was the best thing to have happened. The MTV video is brilliant and is being played all over the world. I have had  very positive feedback on it. I think this is a great opportunity for personal issues to be put aside and for Bob/Management/ Fans to work together to make this tour a success. 

I will hold off posting anything ,out of consideration for Bob, until the tour is officially announced. (In Toronto next week?)D as "

The internet is full of this;Don't Believe What You Read.  Anyone could have done that.

If you want to see Geldof, go to Dubai, he's got the Paddy's night gig in the Irish pub in the middle of the fcuking desert for the forseeable future.  Otherwise, there may be the odd gig in Germany where he can still attract large audiences.

Unless Geldof wants to play clubs in North America, I doubt he will go there.
