I wish he had turned up to half the gigs on his last tour.   Maybe he will play that "postponed" Shepherd's Bush gig one day.  Had there been a bit more publicity he may have been forced to do a free gig.

My theory is he will never tour in the UK again.  If in the aftermath of Live 8, he couldn't sell tickets, when will he?  I doubt even a new album would help.  Geldof had created a situation where even if he did announce a tour, no one would buy the tickets for a gig as they would expect it to be cancelled.

The best you can expect is an appearance on a chat show, a festival, or a free show like the Hay festival.

You can catch him in Colombia or Dubai in the new year (if he hasn't cancelled them).

yeah thats what i suspected ='[ it's such a shame i only saw him once. it's an even bigger shame that as you said even after live 8 it seems the crowds aren't attracted to a man they call a saint. as one of the few people i look upto most in the world and as someone who has changed my life.. i would be terribly disappointed and so upset if he never toured again in the uk or if i never again have the opportunity to see him live.

We don't know this for sure, it is only a theory. Only time will tell. A new album would help if Bob had the publicity to go with and radio to play. Otherwise it is a waste of time.
