Hi all, not been on for a couple of days due to a slight accident. Skint knees and elbows, and no i wasn't drunk!!!!. My father-in-law was doing work in the shed with a blowtorch. My daughter was sitting on the patio chair and i was standing with the dog outside the hut. And guess?
He decided to change the blow torch canister, inside the hut!!!. Suddenly whoosh!!!!!!!. My daughter got blown off her chair, thankfully she was unhurt, just got a bit of a sore bum. I was blown off my feet and landed 3 ft away onto gravel, hence the skint knees, bruising etc. Thankfully the ambulance services came within 10 mins. My father-in-law suffered burns to his face and arms (he's doing well, burns were luckely superficial).
The reason i am telling you this is that what happened to us was very minor, but traumatic. The explosion from the small gas canister was horrendous, and my heart goes out to all those victims and families of the terrorist attacks which happened in London. If a small gas canister can do this, imagine what a bomb can do!!!
Anyway, still here and ready to pick on the bunny again lol.
