I finally got a chance to see Ozomatli (Los Angeles based) in NYC last week. Amazing, ecstatic, jumping up and down, dancing, singing in a language I don't understand, throwing my fists in the air and pumping em like I just don't care kind of show. Absolutely soaked in sweat by the end.
They're off to the UK in August. If you can get to one of these, and you're willing to dance and scream, I can't think of a better way to spend an evening.

Just so you know I'm not alone in this sort of praise, here are some other fan reviews of the same show (from their board):
"the show rocked last night!!! Brooklyn was off the hook! "
"Yeah, after living in Brooklyn for the first 50 years of my life, and living 1/2 mile from the venue from 1970 to 1994, it was truly amazing to witness Brooklyn's love for Ozo. Estimate is 5,000 to 7,000 peeps were there. They sambaed to the very back of the throngs with the chant of Ozo permeating the sweet, summer night. Magic!"
"It was badass last nite!!! their energy was waaaay up there like @ LA shows!! All the guys were freaking AWESOME! Justin broke it down like it was no one's business!! He's up there w/ awesome guys like Ray Barreto FOR SURE!!"
"Oh lord! What an amazing show! I got there just in time to see the walk on the stage....Man, I was just so ecstatic. I could have died from euphoria. I just love the energy each time. They are truly the best peformers!"
"Went last night to the Brooklyn show, and it was awesome. It was good to see them get such a big turnout. "
