I didn't know Geldof has such a love for tigers. Just what is Bob up to with that tiger. If you go to Getty Images search for Boomtown Rats then choose "oldest first" loads of brilliant Rats photos from back in the  day appear including some with Bob and his new best friend from the Tonic   cover.

These Getty Images are really good including some supporting the Ramones at Slough Poly and some taken at Fredericks Lingerie in Hollywood. Check 'em out.

MUST SEE IMAGES of BOB AND THE TIGER - Just type these photo numbers into the Getty  Images search - each photo has its own id number-

Great photos! Love the cowboy ones. Seems like they had so much fun doing these, and they all look like they could have been taken last year. Lovely memories.

The cowboy photos to me are a bit misguided but most of the others are really good- some I had seen before and loads I had not. There's a few taken at Rats HQ in Chessington. The think about photo-shoots is that publications can only use a few images so there are loads of leftovers which while not used are very interesting. Also photographers with the Internet can display their wares whereas in the old days there would have been buried in archives and remain hardy seen .
