Anyone who hasn't been on official site lately might not be aware of latest issue of above including 4 page Rats interview with Garry and Simon, pondering the rapid and seemingly final demise of band, in terms of continued popularity at least. Well worth a read, even though mag is £4.99 and much of it is familiar material (potted history stuff etc). Got it readily enough in WH Smith. Thanks to BTR for drawing attention to it.
Got a copy too in WHS today - used a 10% voucher so got a small saving. But got home to discover no free CD, or have I missed something and you have to send off for it??? Anyway good article and some nice piccies.
OK, managed to get another copy with CD - started listening to it, but first track was a bit heavy and boys told me to turn it off! Fast forwarded to track 2 - and then 2 seconds into that there was a very rude word, persevered to track 4 but then gave in and will try again when I'm on my own to avoid being glared at by my offspring! Talk about role reversal .....Feel a little ripped off though as thought the front of mag was advertising free CD that featured Stiff Little Fingers, Buzz****s etc. But I guess that was just alluding to them being featured elsewhere. Ho hum! I guess I'm just the sort of person that advertisers love But still good to read the article.
