EEEEEEEEEEEEE! Steve got me a shiny new MP3 player: a 20G Zen from Creative Lab. I LOVE IT! None of the hassle of IPOD's proprietary ****, but all the fun. I'm filling it with Geldof and Boomtown Rats songs as we speak!

It has a USB cable and a nifty program that I can use to manage my files on the computer. I'm a bit obsessive-compulsive, and the program helps making all those tags right.
Perhaps not as exciting as a Fender bass (wow!!) or MP3, I got a lot of delicious Christmas foods, especially FRUIT CAKE, which is an American usually-recangular cake of candied fruits and a lot of calories, something like plum pudding, yummmmm and makes you so fat!!but it tastes too good; some egg nog is good too! And people make a lot of cookies with Christmas decorations on them and pass them around at work, even our parcel delivery man at work has a wife who brings them to our store for the employees and we do nothing but eat for the whole week between Christmas and New Year...it's great!!!!
Well I received a house plant from one friend and a 10 in one tool for indoor plants from another. Now with some of my Christmas money I need to go and buy a book on how not to kill off house plants and make them last more than a few months.
well iv just found out that my dad met bob and got him to sign my anthology when we were at hull.which would explain the sneeking off.but im dead jealous
SIR BOB GELDOF was presented with a very special Christmas gift by his friends and neighbours in recognition of his high profile charity work.
The anti-poverty campaigner, who organised Live Aid in 1985 and Live 8 in 2005, was presented with an antique book on the history of his UK hometown of Faversham, England.
Mayor of Faversham MICK GATES says, "Bob's lived here for 23 years - we thought it would be good to give him a special present from all of us in the town in recognition of his work."
The best presents I got was a Klimt picture and an mp3 So next time it's new year, so just want to say happy new year. Also to Bob-- Edited by camilladk at 15:14, 2005-12-26
Hi Camilla, I love Klimt too. We have a large reproduction of this one:

Your dad did what?? Sneak off to get an autograph for you when you were at the show? I mean, an autograph is nice, and it's a nice idea, but I guess you would have just loved to get to meet Bob yourself?? I might have considered patricide if my father would have done that to me...
