...let me share with you press release for this independent and self produced project ignored by mainstream media because of subject, thanks.
The Saga of Hypatia is going to begin... Invitation to attendance at genesis of a controversial Graphic Novella
with this writing I want to get your attention for a exceptional project and ask for your interest and support.
The Graphic Novella „Diane999“, created by the icelandic author Birgitta Jonsdottir and the italian Comic-Drawer Maurizio Di Bona (theHand), combines fantastic drawings, historical facts and a fictional story in a way never seen before. Main personage of this passionate saga is the female character Elettra Es or her alter ego Diane. The connecting piece between this women, and between the real and fictional world, is represented by a sort of human kind harpe, which profil was inspired during the development of the story by the Alexandrian scientist and martyr Hypatia.
Because of its multi-linear direction, the project should attract substitutes of female rights as well as comic-enthusiasts and historical interested ones.
We like to invite you to have a look at the official homepage http://www.diane999.com to get an insight into the project. Also we would be glad to get your opinion, suggestions and reaction at the specially opened web-blog at http://diane999-english.blogspot.com. Besides a post dealing with the Novella on its own, there are other subjects for discussion, like the matriarchal history of Europe, the Alexandrian Scientist Hypatia and certain developments in women’s movement.
Thanks a lot for your attention and support. [the Authors]
