C'mon Bob and his fellow Rats, I've loyally been here for you since 1978. Seen two of your tours here in NY/NJ. Still among some of the best live shows of the 150 or so I've seen, including the greats like The Who (2x); the Stones (2x), the Clash (2x), the Pogues (3x), Springsteen (12x), the Replacements (2x), Prince (4x), etc. I own everything recorded by the band (including the bootlegs of live shows I've dug up across the web).
Now, git yer arses to NY boys one more time for a 50-somethin-year-old sod and his 12-year girl (who has now discovered the greatness of the Rats).
If not, I guess the live Dublin CD I got will have to do.
Given the aborted Australia/New Zealand tour, it would be a brave promoter who'd stump up the ca$h.
They could probably do some a few dates in the US restricting themselves to the north east to take in New York and Boston. Radio City Music Hall would be cool.
