March edition of Q magazine celebrates 30 years of punk, with a free  CD. Rats are bound to be there somewhere I guess. I have seen it out already.

Free CD? No. It's a chance to join Napster and download 50 tracks.

As for the Boomtown Rats being in there, no chance.  Recent Punk efforts and 1970 retrospectives have not mentioned them at all.

Waiting for a copy to come out of the plastic cover @ the local WH Smith to have a glance.

I watch a prog on VH1 the other night about 30 years after punk and there was no sign of the Rats. Although I did turn on part way through, but had the feeling they didn't feature at all. I did look at Q mag in the newsagent but it was sealed in a plastic cover so I couldn't flick through it!!
